Endless Pools® Donation to CSFP Announced at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy (Press Release)

$12,500 gift will fund new K-8th-grade scholarships

PHILADELPHIA- Endless Pools, an Aston-based aquatic fitness innovator for over three decades, today announced a donation of $12,500 to Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) to support K-8 scholarships for students from Philadelphia to attend tuition-based schools in the area.

Founded in 1988, Endless Pools has a strong commitment to giving back. Through their Endless Access program and backed by their parent company, Masco Corporation, the Delaware County-based company proudly contributes to programs that support diversity and promote inclusion. Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia’s scholarship program offers hope, opportunity, and a greater chance at success to students by providing financial access to safe, quality schools in the Greater Philadelphia area. CSFP, with its network of more than 160 private and parochial schools, is the most broad-based and diverse K-8th grade scholarship program in the state.

“At Endless Pools, we regard wellness as one of our core beliefs. We see our donation to CSFP as a part of that commitment,” said Darren Pearse, General Manager of Endless Pools. “As a former middle school teacher, I know the importance of extracurricular activities – like swimming – and how they can help students to develop discipline and goal-orientation. CSFP scholarships allow students to attend schools with robust extracurricular offerings and we hope that this gift will inspire Philadelphia children to pursue great achievements at these institutions.”

The Endless Pools check presentation took place at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy, an independent Catholic school located in Chestnut Hill and one of CSFP’s partners. The school has been a partner for 14 years and has 14 students receiving scholarships from CSFP this year.

All CSFP scholarships are awarded through a random lottery and are four years in length, need-based, and can be provided to up to three children per family. Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year are available online at csfphiladelphia.org through March 1 with a priority deadline of November 15.
